Kiss My Arts: the next round

Kiss My Arts applications closed on Sunday and we were stoked with the response we got – both from applicants and the Social Media community in general.

We had a whole bunch of applications coming in at the eleventh hour, boosting the numbers and making it even more difficult to narrow it down to the 20 who have been selected for the Blog Challenge. These people are:

    Rohan Adarkar

    Vera Alves

    Jane Blackmore

    Jessie Bloore

    C. Alex de Freitas

    Corin Haines

    Joseph Harper

    Rochelle Hume

    Ben Hutton

    Kat Jenkins

    Sarah Knowles

    Cindy Lee

    Vanessa Liddell

    Suzi Marsh

    Leith McDonald

    Leah Purves

    Jonathan Riley

    Al Ronberg

    Frances Titman

    Kris Wehipeihana

The blog challenge is simple – all they have do is go out and do something, write a blog about it and email it to us along with a photo by next Monday 30 November.

From there we’ll narrow down the field to six “Kiss My Arts” bloggers who we’ll announce in December (we’ll also post their Blog Challenge responses here).

A big thank you to everyone who applied and those who gave us such great feedback. If you want to make sure you don’t miss out on a single update, subscribe to the Kiss My Arts blog or save this page to your favourites.

Kiss My Arts gets underway in January 2010. We can’t wait!

    Cheers,

    The Kiss My Arts team.

This is an arts and entertainment blog facilitated by THE EDGE, the home of the Aotea Centre, The Civic, Auckland Town Hall and Aotea Square in Auckland, New Zealand.

The blog was set up in 2010, as a project sending six arts novices to a whole range of cultural events. They tried EVERYTHING and learned a lot. We continue to change things up - getting more bloggers on board, including insider blogs, artist Q&As and background stories.

We'd love to have your feedback - feel free to share the blogs and post comments!
