    Grease is the Word

    The rock and roll skirt has been dusted off and the white ankle socks have been pulled up.

     

    Grease has to be one of my favourite movies. Back in 1998-99 I used to watch Grease every second Sunday morning.  It was alternated with Theres Something about Mary. Neither of these were great choces for a nine year old but have to say the jokes mainly went over my head. 

     

    Anyway, I loved Grease.  I used to put on little talent shows where I would sing the whole movie.  Unfortunately talent in the singing department was a little limited.

     

    Talent or not, I will be singing along at the Grease Musical this Sunday. If there is one thing that I love more than Grease, its musicals.  Combination of both=winner.

     

    And it has to be said; Grease medley at a party is always a hit.  I bought a singalong/danceaong version of Grease last year in Sydney but have ywt to crank it out. I am hoping the Grease revival will mean I won’t be ostracised like an Ancient Greek when I suggest a little Grease fun.

     

    Grease:The Musical is on until 29th August.  Get into it!
