Cobra Starship and Owl City - Sure to be a hiss and a hoot!

    Cobrastarship_hero

Good golly Gee, I am excited about going to the Cobra Starship and Owl City concert at the Town Hall on Friday.

To be honest my music repertoire is pretty slim, I only really listen to the radio in the car and the last time I bought a CD was about 3 months ago (which by the way was GLEE...). But what I do listen to is POP! I love the Top 40 and getting my dance on.

Admittedly I only know Cobra Starship and Owl City's hit songs so I'm really looking forward to getting to hear some of their less known songs.

I'm notorious for not knowing the correct lyrics for songs, I tend to just make up what i hear. For its entirety on the charts i thought
Bubba Sparxxx's song "Ms. New Booty" was saying  "Rocking Debra Wells" instead of "Rocking Everywhere". Not even close.....

So it is with more than just a hint of pride that I admit that I know every lyric of Owl City's "Fireflies". My friend even told me off for being "a bloody singstar" when I was singing along to it. Yus!

As I said before I love a good dance and Cobra Starship has some brill songs to get your groove on to. Its funny how many of their songs apply to me, Hot Mess for one...

It is going to be interesting going to a concert in the Town Hall, I imagine it to be complete contrast to the jazz concert I went to there last month. Its quite cool having it there because I imagine it will be rather intimate.

I'm somewhat confused who is actually part of Owl City or if its just one guy, you never can trust those Wiki articles. But I cant wait to find out!!

There are still some tickets available so give it a crack guys (http://www.the-edge.co.nz/Event-Pages/C/Cobra-Starship.aspx) and meet ya on the the d-floor!
